When Will Hearn was in First Grade, he and his father, John, began what would become a Memorial Day tradition of placing a flag on the gravesite of Jefferey Steven Blanton at the Marietta National Cemetery.
His eagerness to participate in this particular Boy Scout activity was largely inspired by the life and sacrifice of LT Tyler Hall Brown, the son of Sally and Carey Brown, the business partner of Will’s father.
Over the next eleven years, Will and his dad would take a picture of Lance Corporal Blanton's marker, and send it to Carey–who Will affectionately calls "Buzz"– with the message “We Remember.”

The purpose of this site is to honor the life and legacy of LT Tyler Hall Brown—a beloved son, brother, uncle, and a man defined by courage, integrity, and selflessness.
We share reflections on Tyler's life and the lasting impact he continues to have on his family, friends, and others who are inspired by him. This space exists not only to remember him, but to carry forward the spirit in which he lived—honoring others.
We are thankful for your visit and for your willingness to learn more about the life, service, and legacy of
LT Tyler Hall Brown.
